co2art.com is a plain company page. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and loads nothing from another company until you press a button that says so.
The list of recent purchases
The home page shows a short list of recent purchases from our two stores, for example "Lukas from Graz, Austria bought a complete CO2 kit". Each row shows the buyer's first name, the town and region or country of the delivery address, the kind of product and how long ago the order was placed. It never shows a surname, an e-mail address, an order number, a price, a street address or the product's name.
The rows come from the stores' own retail orders of the last 14 days: paid orders placed on the stores' websites, never trade, test or refunded orders. They are the same rows the stores show in their own notices, chosen by the same rules. Reviews on the home page are reviews published in the stores, signed with the name the reviewer chose there.
You can ask us at any time to leave your purchase or review out: write to [email protected] (European store) or [email protected] (US store). We remove it from the stores and from this page without delay, usually within the hour.
Things that load only when you ask
- The trade chat is run by Re:amaze. Nothing from Re:amaze loads until you press "Chat with our trade team" and choose your region; then Re:amaze receives what you type and the usual connection data.
- The film about CO2 plays from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play.
- The partner map, when it is there, comes from Google Maps and starts only when you press "Show the map".
Server logs
Like every website, the server that sends you these pages writes a short log of each request: the address of your connection, the page, the time and your browser's name. We keep it for 14 days to keep the site running and safe, then it is deleted. Cloudflare carries the traffic in front of our server and may set a short-lived security cookie of its own to tell people from bots.
